Jason

Jason is Silo Twelve’s young IT shadow, whose recorded behavior leads Troy to suspect concealed suffering and manipulation.

Story so far

Jason is the shadow of the Silo Twelve IT Head, with formal induction expected within a few weeks. Surveillance footage shows his face gaunt after weeks of privation. He rolls down his sleeve to conceal dark parallel lines on his forearm, then retreats beneath the server-room floor after talking with the IT head.

Reviewing what happened, Troy concludes that Jason hid his pain and manipulated others because he wanted to get out. That judgment is Troy’s interpretation of Jason’s behavior.
