Barbara escapes the highway crashes and realizes her husband John knew the catastrophe was coming.
Barbara does not understand why John has stopped beside the interstate. She escapes the Explorer before a van hits it and tries to summon help after the crashes. As she realizes John knew what was coming, she asks whether he went along with the catastrophe.
