Sadir's saccathian bounty-hunter partner, hunting Earth natives for fun and the Prism's buy-in — shot dead by Odette's agent.
Gennrik is a saccathian — a tentacle-faced 'sac' alien — and Sadir's partner on the Walk-On List bounty crew hunting Earth's survivors. Unlike the bitter Sadir, he hunts because his family enjoys it and to raise money for the Prism's faction-wars buy-in bid, and he needles Sadir over the hypocrisy of hating the crawl while making it more entertaining. Methodical (he checks microchips and databases to rule out wrong targets, releasing the female cat Contessa Purrington), he pushes to raid the New Queen Anne camp for the high-value cat.
There, Odette's operative Lexis kills him with a shot through the chest, green gore filling the tent — and his death is staged to frame Sadir.
