Story so far
The Enchanted Anarchist's Battle Rattle is the platinum-box prize that finally replaces Carl's ruined, one-armed leather jacket. A subtly purple-glowing black sleeveless canvas jacket, it offers only meager base armor but is one of the game's most upgradeable protection items: it hosts as many upgrade patches as will fit, granting +1 to all base stats (rising +1 per compatible patch, doubled by a Back Patch), +50% range and accuracy for all thrown explosives, and built-in access to the Desperado Club and Naughty Boys Employment Agency. Mordecai calls it the dungeon 'solidifying his look' and urges Carl to find patches fast; Carl affixes an Earth upgrade patch (+5% Strength, cloud-attack immunity) as its first.
The +50% explosive range alone makes it one of his most valuable items.
