Ines plays Paz with Stout. The reconstructed armored man retains the hand-shaped facial burn inflicted when Ogun smote him, partially exposing his skull.
Paz begs Ines to stop and says he cannot endure more. Madre de Aguas interrupts by biting and shaking him in its jaws. Ines nevertheless orders him to accept his suffering and prepare Self-Destruct against the false god.
Before he can act, Quan forces Ines to Flee. Paz immediately dissipates, enraging the snake whose mouth had held him.
