Emergency Action Items

Emergency actions

Each Faction Wars team receives three emergency rule proposals that bypass voting and are decided directly by the system.

Story so far

Emergency action items differ from ordinary pre-production proposals because other warlords do not vote on them. The system alone accepts or rejects each request.

Every team receives three uses. Most factions spent theirs in response to the flooding of Larracos, the purchase of the Princess Posse team, or the destruction of the Lemig Sortion elf castle.

Empress D'Nadia uses all three to seek sweeping changes against Larracos NPCs and the crawlers. The system rejects every request, making their contents available to Odette's researchers even though Carl and Donut never saw them in their own interface.

Appearance

Three red emergency tokens entering a central rules engine with no public voting chamber.

Role

Emergency items provide each faction a scarce direct appeal to the system and reveal how unprepared the Princess Posse is for hidden rules.

Relationships

Empress D'Nadia — She spends all three of her team's uses against the crawlers and NPCs.
Princess Posse — The team did not know the mechanic existed.
Faction Wars Adjutant — An adjutant's expanded rule access could prevent similar ignorance.
