Dodola containment betrayal

Odette secretly pays Huanxin to rig Mordecai's crawl, then breaks the deal and has Dodola trapped and killed.

Story so far

Near the end of Odette's manager contract, Armita facilitates an illegal bargain between Odette and Huanxin. Huanxin will use Dodola to help Mordecai advance, and Odette will pay credits from her eleventh-floor manager bonus.

When Huanxin demands more money, Odette reverses the plan at the last moment. The crawlers trap Dodola in a containment, and Chaco kills the goddess before the Celestial Ascendency officially begins.

Mordecai reaches the next floor, but Uzzi dies. Odette soon gains release and confesses her crime, while Huanxin returns the following season to kill Armita. The deal's collapse creates the feud now converging around Katia and Nekhebit.
