A living creature bitten by zombies remains alive but is guaranteed to rise with new powers after death.

Story so far

Madre de Aguas receives multiple zombie-fish bites while charmed. The system labels the still-living boss with pre-zombism.

The condition does not immediately convert behavior or biology. Once the host dies, it rises again as a zombie with a changed power set. On a level-125 city boss during Demon Eviction, the second form would also provide an exceptional demon shell.

Appearance

A living creature silhouette with bite marks and a dim undead duplicate waiting behind it.

Role

Pre-zombism makes killing an infected boss the beginning of a more dangerous second encounter.
