Faction Wars Preproduction Meeting

Disrupted Warlord Meeting

The meeting opens a vote on NPC faction rights before a bomb, an arrow assassination, and mass evacuations force Cascadia to adjourn.

Story so far

Noflex interrupts introductions with battlefield intelligence and a demand for a tenth NPC team. Carl submits the action item, U56KL opens voting, and Luke considers asking his electorate to withdraw from Faction Wars.

Noflex activates a ten-second bomb. Tagg, D'Nadia, and Luke flee their feeds, while Stalwart, Rishi, and the Operatic cell mass remain. The blast destroys only the cell mass. A hidden magical arrow then kills Stalwart through the eye and ends his feed.

Only Carl, Donut, Rishi, and Cascadia remain. Rishi proposes limited NPC protections as a counteroffer, while Cascadia postpones the council until the dead representatives regenerate the next day. She observes that this meeting advanced farther than the previous attempt.

Appearance

A mostly empty circular council after explosions, with one blacked-out section, one vanished Orc feed, and four exhausted survivors.

Role

The failed meeting exposes how NPC attacks can paralyze sponsor governance before Faction Wars begins.

Relationships

NPC Tenth Team Proposal — It becomes the only substantive action item opened for voting.
Voting Admin Cell Mass Number Three — The representative dies in Noflex's blast.
Crown Prince Stalwart — A hidden archer kills him after the explosion.
Cascadia — She adjourns until regeneration restores the delegates.
