A crawler body cannot enter an unauthorized Sheol portal, but pulled equipment passes through and tears through the wearer.
Story so far
Masoud is touched by a possessed zombie polecat and dragged toward its return portal. His body cannot descend from the eighth to the fifteenth floor, but his worn equipment and inventory-bound objects are allowed through.
The gear passes through him toward the portal, explosively destroying his body and preventing ordinary looting. The demon still returns and the portal closes.
Mandla infers that a completely naked crawler might survive contact because no equipment would shear through the blocked body. He begins fighting demons without gear, though the theory has not yet been fully demonstrated.
Appearance
A crawler stopped at a portal boundary while armor and carried gear are pulled through the body toward Sheol.
