Player-Killer Skull Attribution

Totem Kill Attribution

Crawler-controlled totem kills count as player kills even when possession and system design make the deaths unintended.

Story so far

Imani's Amhuluk kills her four immobilized squad members without her ordering a targeted betrayal. The system nevertheless gives Imani four player-killer skulls because the totem belongs to her.

Carl compares the cruelty to Florin receiving blame after Lucia Mar killed Ifechi. The mechanic marks traumatized survivors as killers and may restrict future behavior regardless of intent or coercion.

Appearance

Four dark skull icons connected by ownership lines to a creature card rather than the horrified summoner.

Role

The rule weaponizes ownership attribution to compound grief with stigma and mechanical punishment.

Relationships

Imani — She receives four skulls for the Amhuluk's attack.
Amhuluk Totem — Its kills are legally treated as the owner's.
Florin — He previously suffered similar attribution through Lucia Mar.
System AI — Carl reads the attribution as deliberate cruelty.
