Wrath Ghoul

A powerful ghoul born at the end of DT stage two, now massing at station 36 for some ominous purpose.

Story so far

Wrath Ghouls are a powerful ghoul variant on The Iron Tangle, believed to be what a DT-stricken mob becomes at the end of stage two. Far stronger than the ordinary Festering Ghouls, they sometimes ride the transport cages and burst free at the trainyards. By mid-crisis, the ghouls streaming out of the yards are ALL this type, and they are gathering at station 36 — mirroring how the festering ghouls converge at station 48 to form a province boss.

Fearing they intend the same or worse, Imani and Elle McGib resolve to post up at generator-free station 36 and kill the Wrath Ghouls as they arrive, hoping to stop whatever they're building toward — and ask Carl for his boom jugs.

Appearance

A ghoul markedly larger and stronger than a festering ghoul (undescribed in fine detail), the stage-two-end evolution of the DT affliction.

Role

A stronger ghoul evolution massing at station 36, a looming threat the allies race to contain.
