Story so far
The Bolt of Ophiotaurus arrives in Katia Grim's silver benefactor box from her sponsor, Princess Formidable. It reads as an ordinary crossbow bolt with one extraordinary exception: shot directly into the eye of a deity, a successful strike pauses that god's invulnerability for fifteen seconds. It is numbered 1 of 100.
Carl takes the gift as a pointed signal — the youngest sister of the Skull Empire's murderous royals is arming his party against gods, and "isn't a huge fan of her big brother." A single, precious anti-deity weapon banked for whatever comes next.
