Auto Buckler of the Peach Pit

Story so far

The Enchanted Auto Buckler of the Peach Pit is Katia Grim's old wrist bracer, which she mostly used to add mass; forced to choose one worn item, she hands it to Carl, who has never had a proper shield. Worn on the wrist, it forms a metallic buckler on command — triggered by hotlist or by 'shaking your wrist like you're thinking of your hot Aunt Lydia.' It carries the Shatter enchant: any attack landing on it has a 1.5% chance to disarm the attacker, and on a disarm a 90% chance the weapon drops, 5% it breaks, and 5% it teleports straight into the wielder's inventory. Carl slides it over his jacket sleeve on the wrist opposite his gauntlet, delighted to finally have a shield.

Appearance

A wrist bracer, similar to Carl's gauntlet-bracer, that pops a small round metallic buckler into place with a twist of the wrist.

Role

Carl's new compact shield, offering a chance to disarm or steal an enemy's weapon.
