character

Agatha

the old woman with the shopping cart

A cackling old crawler pushing a flamingo-adorned shopping cart — level 8, still classless, and somehow untouchable, whom Carl pointedly refuses to let anyone stop.

Story so far

Agatha resurfaces at the station-36 stairwell as the party prepares to descend — a familiar old woman cackling and pushing a squeaking shopping cart with a pink plastic flamingo standing in the front. She is only level 8, still human, and has never chosen a class, yet she strolls untroubled through a floor that has slaughtered far stronger crawlers, and the stairs even morph into a ramp for her cart. When Imani moves to intercept her, Carl stops her with a warning — 'Don't.

We'll talk later' — plainly knowing more about the strange woman than he lets on. Agatha simply disappears down the stairwell, leaving the whole group open-mouthed. A quiet, ominous mystery threaded through the floor's end.
