A gnoll interdiction-cart driver at station 75 who died calling Growler Gary a coward — the ache at the heart of his grief.
Jumping Jen-Jen was a gnoll interdiction-cart driver at station 75 on The Iron Tangle, for whom the bartender Growler Gary used to keep marrow juice cold. When the ghouls overran the station, she and the other drivers fought and died; barred by an invisible wall from leaving his bar, Gary could only watch. Her last act was to call him a coward — a wound that consumes him, since he tried to fight and couldn't.
She and the other drivers had long complained the rapid-response carts wouldn't start, never realizing (as Gary belatedly does) that it was the two-gnoll left-hand lock that kept them grounded.
A gnoll cart-driver (undescribed in detail); Gary remembers her as pretty.
A dead gnoll driver whose scorn haunts Growler Gary and frames the station's tragedy.
