Potion of Charm Animal

Animal Charm Potion

Mordecai's blood-based potion can convert Ferdinand from an influenced admirer into Donut's magically controlled minion.

Story so far

The coalition distinguishes ordinary charisma influence from a true magical charm. Ferdinand can still object while merely enchanted by Donut's personality, but a potion-based charm would add him as her official minion, enable private chat and saferoom access, and permit Clockwork Triplicate.

Mordecai can brew the potion using a liter of cat blood gathered from Donut over multiple sessions. Because the effect operates through line of sight, Donut can drink it onstage while Ferdinand watches from the linked ballroom. Carl plans to wait until just before Imogen leaves to fight Signet so the familiar's changed allegiance is not exposed too early.

Appearance

A prepared magical draught made with a substantial quantity of feline blood.

Role

The potion is the coalition's method for turning a hostile province boss into Donut's controllable asset.

Relationships

Mordecai — He can prepare the potion.
Princess Donut — Her blood is the ingredient and she must drink the result.
Ferdinand — He is the intended charm target.
Clockwork Triplicate — The spell can copy Ferdinand only after he becomes a minion.
