Jungle Caravan

the caravans · caravan routes

NPC trade caravans whose bodyguards sweep the main roads clear of traps with anti-trap spells.

Story so far

Miriam Dom told Carl her group was traveling the main road south following the path of the caravans, and that the road is mostly clear: the caravans move up and down it constantly, and their bodyguards cast anti-trap spells as they travel, disarming even traps built specifically for crawlers. Mobs are scarce there too, likely because the Hunters cleared them out around the cities.

Carl called this super valuable information and immediately messaged Katia to spread the word and get the regular caravan routes mapped onto the Community Map — both as safe travel corridors and as places where his own Hunter-Triggered IEDs would be wasted.

Appearance

Trade convoys working the main roads of the floor with spellcasting bodyguards riding escort.

Role

Moving NPC traffic that inadvertently sanitizes the floor's main roads for crawlers and hunters alike.
