Story so far

The patch system turns Carl's jacket into an expandable equipment platform. Individual patches carry named themes and abilities, and Donut's hobby work determines how effectively they can be prepared and attached.

The Radiant Star patch becomes one entry in this running upgrade track. Because each attachment changes Carl's available defenses or utility, acquiring and applying patches is a continuing part of his build rather than simple decoration.
