Book of Lore – Commonwealth of the Bahamas

Bahamas Book of Lore · Eighth Floor Book of Lore

Carl's eighth-floor boon contains illustrated statistics and extensive lore for monsters associated with the Bahamas.

Story so far

Carl finally examines the thin hardback while Prepotente tests the seventh-floor wall. Its cover uses the aquamarine, gold, and black of the Bahamian flag.

Inside are photographs, descriptions, and statistics for regional creatures, including several pages about the owl-like Chickcharney. Prepotente infers the country title will matter to eighth-floor starting locations and asks Carl to preserve it.

When Donut must choose a territory on the next floor, Carl recommends the Bahamas because the book offers a direct information advantage.

Appearance

A thin hardback with Bahamian flag colors and illustrated monster entries.

Role

The book is the only advance intelligence Carl and Donut possess for their country-based eighth-floor start.

Relationships

Carl — He buys, carries, and first opens the book.
Prepotente — He recognizes its likely relevance to country selection.
