Ren survives the battle with Garret and unknowingly wins Best in Show through the linked attendant-ballroom pet competition.
Ren joins Carl's public Faction Wars address with Garret the Tummy Acher behind her. She questions how Carl and Donut managed both the dinosaur illusion and purchase of a team slot.
Donut explains that Hole affected every linked stage and opened between the closely stacked hunter and attendant ballrooms even though it appeared blocked in their own room.
During the explanation Donut notices a trophy marker above Ren. Garret has been named Pet Show Champion and Best in Show, provoking Donut's outraged jealousy and Carl's exhausted laughter.
A doglike soldier with a trophy marker above her while her enormous pet grins behind her.
Ren's accidental pet-show victory supplies a comic release after the catastrophic battle.
