Enchanted Hammer of Fast Forward

Hammer of Fast Forward

A palm-sized ball-peen hammer is magically enchanted without an active effect and bears a hidden number seven on its handle.

Story so far

Imani receives the small hammer in a silver Apothecary box with instructions to give it to Donut. Borant files a dangerous appeal to block the delivery, but the appeal is immediately denied.

The hammer's description insists that it is magical while admitting it does nothing magical. Such inert enchantment still lets it strike ghosts or other targets requiring magic. Carl finds a faint number seven impressed into the wooden handle, linking it to the seventh floor and to the similarly marked Cascadia stick.

Appearance

A tiny ball-peen hammer fitting in one hand, with a subtle numeral seven pressed into its wooden handle.

Role

The hammer is one half of a cryptic seventh-floor benefactor pairing routed to Donut despite present uselessness.

Relationships

Imani — She receives the box and transfers it to Donut.
Princess Donut — She is the named intended holder.
Enchanted Stick of Cascadia's Screams — Both inert-looking tools bear hidden sevens and complementary names.
Borant Corporation — Borant unsuccessfully appeals its delivery.
