Story so far

Princess Donut explained that Bomo is listed as a Royal Court Minion — a minion of the party rather than of her personally. To make clockwork versions of him, she would first have to switch him over to being a minion of hers alone, exactly as they did with Clay-ton and Very Sullen. She used the moment to scold Carl for not paying enough attention to how the party system works.
