Were-Kin

the six warriors · were-whatevers · were-vermin

Signet's six shapeshifted warriors, an audience favourite riding a giant caterpillar through a mediocre arc.

Story so far

The six were-warriors are the core of Signet's band and, according to Zev, the reason the current arc plays at all: audiences like the six warriors and their caterpillar mount. Princess Donut, less impressed, lumps them in with Zev as "her weird were-vermin" when proposing the pair abandon the storyline entirely.

At camp they sit among the roughly seventy gathered creatures — Carl counts them as the six were-whatevers alongside the Giant Caterpillar Mount, Areson the Wise, forty Bush Elves, Edgar the tortoise, pixies, dryads, monkeys and a late pair of Ursine, most around level forty — and hear Signet name the two tasks that commit them to the assault on Fort Freedom.

Appearance

Six shapeshifter warriors of assorted animal aspects, distinctive enough that the audience follows them as a unit and Donut dismisses them as vermin.

Role

Signet's veteran warrior core and the popular heart of the storyline Carl and Donut have guest-starred into.

Relationships

Signet — Fight under her and follow her home to the river.
Giant Caterpillar Mount — Their mount, and half of what the audience tunes in for.
Zev — Reports that fans like them; Donut counts them as her vermin.
Princess Donut — Dismisses them as weird were-vermin worth ditching.
