Story so far
Orren had a set of watches and a winding box out on his desk during the meeting, part of whatever he was trying to sell or induce Carl to accept. Quasar's first act after arriving was to demand the liaison get those items out of the room, since his client would not touch anything until they had an agreement.
Orren gathered them up and they disappeared. Quasar's blanket warning followed: do not buy anything the worm head is selling, and touch nothing until counsel arrives — the same rule that saved the Gate of the Feral Gods from deletion under Administrative Hold.
