The crawlers' shared channel, used here to broadcast the hunters' map to everyone it names.
Sitting in the clearing among Signet's gathered coalition, Carl sends out a group message relaying everything he can read off the The Hunter Territory Map — territories, claimants, and the fact that every crawler's marked position is accurate. It is the chapter's single most useful act, converting one dead hunter into floor-wide warning.
The replies show the channel's usual character. Louis insists it is not his fault the Dream can't take a joke and that everyone is overreacting; Carl tells him to be careful and instructs Katia to watch his back, having sensed the dead hunter was over-the-top angry at Louis specifically; Katia answers "Wonderful. Thanks for the heads up." The same channel carries the chapter's earlier exchange between Carl, Princess Donut and Zev about the ratings.
A text channel overlaid on Carl's vision, names in headers and voices arriving mid-march, half of them shouting in capital letters.
The crawlers' shared communication system, and the vector by which the hunters' intelligence leak becomes common knowledge.
