Spider Stalker

Robot Rot Sticker · Automaton Spider

Twenty rat-sized rolling spider automatons are programmed to seek distinct hunters and explode, assigning any kills to Donut.

Story so far

Spider Stalkers are common robot rot-sticker mobs whose rare main driveshafts make fabrication expensive. In inactive form they resemble tennis-ball-sized metal spheres. When deployed, legs unfold and the units gather in formation.

Carl programs twenty with the target rule “Hunter Not Already Targeted,” preventing redundant selection. Donut activates each by touch so any successful kills count as hers and cannot trigger Carl's Emberus penitence. Two additional units are assigned to Samantha with a command to explode five seconds after acquiring her.

Appearance

A rat-sized metal sphere that unfolds into a fast mechanical spider.

Role

The automatons bypass anti-air defenses, distribute attacks across hunters, and shift divine kill credit away from Carl.

Relationships

Carl — He builds and programs the target logic.
Princess Donut — Her activation gives her credit for their kills.
Samantha — Two extra spiders are programmed to acquire and detonate on her.
Automaton Table — The table fabricates them from production recipes.
