Drakea calls reconstructed loved ones enemy puppets but preserves hope through a dream of fire spanning the sky.
In the twenty-second edition, Drakea explains that Crawler Ikicha's warning took time to understand. The dungeon's stage is fabricated and its apparent restorations are cruel puppets built by the enemy; dead remains dead, even if a crawler survives to the eighteenth floor.
Drakea nevertheless refuses nihilism. The imagined warmth of a fire spreading across the sky like the Winter Nebula sustains him, and he dedicates that future conflagration to Ikicha.
Drakea separates false hope in dungeon copies from sustaining hope for eventual destruction of the system.
