Victra and Antonia's scheming mother, who betrays Augustus then betrays the Bellona at her daughter's turning.
Agrippina au Julii is the wealthy, apolitical schemer who heads House Julii, mother of Victra and the wicked Antonia. Her earlier betrayal—threatened by the Sovereign—depleted Nero au Augustus's fleet and let the Sovereign reach Mars first, tainting Victra with suspicion. But in the space battle over Mars, Victra turns her: as promised to Darrow and the Jackal, Agrippina's flotilla of bleeding-sun ships switches sides at the battle's height, unloading two hundred leechCraft into the core of the Bellona fleet and throwing it into chaos.
A woman who cares for money above loyalty, she is bought back to the winning side by her daughter's gambit.
An older Gold woman of House Julii, reputed a schemer and briber; commander of the bleeding-sun flotilla.
Julii matriarch; a mercenary schemer whose fleet's defection breaks the Bellona in space.
