A curly-haired BreharWallHan refugee distrusts SecUnits but agrees to help Station Security bait Lutran’s murderer.
Mish is one of the ten refugees extracted from BreharWallHan’s asteroid mines, where SecUnits guard processing centers and embody corporate enforcement. Before escaping, he or a companion forcibly removed his forehead interface so it could not be traced; the wound became infected beneath his curly hair. During captivity he mistakes a bounty-catcher’s expensive armor for a SecUnit.
After Murderbot rescues him, Mish remains convinced the SecUnit may report to BreharWallHan. Senior Officer Indah confronts that prejudice, explaining that Murderbot refused to charge the traumatized refugee who shot it and that Preservation will not return anyone to a transfer module or corporate ownership. Mish grumbles but agrees to act as bait, claiming he overheard information from the captors so the Port Authority traitor may try to silence him.
