Nano Treatments use microscopic machines to repair bodies and permit cryogenic survival, while the same technology also carries destructive possibilities.
Once described as extremely expensive treatments that delayed aging's pain without granting immortality, nano treatments were used regularly by Paul Thurman. His nanobiotic treatment repaired individual cells; he said the machines were programmed for his DNA and could undo what they repaired. Donald described medical machines repairing skin and joints in nanobaths while warning that weaponized versions could reproduce invisibly and destroy people.
The technology also made freezing survivable. Erskine explained that the machines preserved dead bodies against decay, and dead machines left the body in charcoal-colored urine after waking. He believed they could restructure and evolve, making every defense a blueprint for another attack. Anna Thurman said airborne machines attacked selected materials while sparing sensors, concrete, and properly built suits. Dr. Wilson explained that nanos were injected during waking because an ordinary human could not survive freezing. Donald now describes cryopods as containing machines that repair and preserve people.
The treatments repair and preserve human bodies, including through cryogenic storage and revival.
