When the digger approached the children's home, the baby first slept peacefully, then woke and cried as the machine broke through. Carried into the other silo, the infant drew the workers to a halt. The doctor subsequently identified Hannah and Rickson's baby as a boy, differing from the earlier description.
Juliette's father reported the baby safe after the confrontation. Rickson cared for the infant during preparations for the meeting. Hannah then carried the child cradled against her chest inside her suit. The baby is now being nursed outdoors as Hannah sits beside Rickson.
