Chapter 9
  • The Talisman of the Slate Butterfly is a small silver butterfly collar charm Donut received from a gold magic item box for being among the first 100 crawlers to reach level three in Magic Missile.
  • It grants +4 to the Light on Your Feet skill, +1 Intelligence, and makes winged fairies no longer automatically hostile, as a boon to those who commemorate the tale of the Slate Butterfly.
  • It jingles like a bell when it moves, which Carl warns makes them noisier and easier to detect.
