A 27-year-old Seattle marine tech who flees a freezing night into the World Dungeon in his boxers and Crocs.
Carl is a 27-year-old former US Coast Guard member working as a marine tech fixing boat electrical systems in Seattle. He had recently broken up with his girlfriend Bea after seeing she brought her ex-boyfriend on a Bahamas trip. When the transformation hit, he was caught outside in below-freezing weather wearing only boxers, a leather jacket, and pink Crocs, surviving because he was not under a roof.
To escape the cold, he runs toward a dungeon entrance and enters The World Dungeon.
