Intellect Hunter

the Intellect Hunters

Named in the Cookbook as one of the races that wears bodies like clothes — the same way aliens wear gods.

Story so far

Crawler Tin's 21st-edition note uses them as the comparison that makes his point about deities. The gods, he writes, are Soul Armor: when the aliens inhabit the bodies of the gods they do so like the Intellect Hunters, the Scree and the Valtay Corporation — the aliens are wearing the gods like clothes. Which is why a spell designed to remove biological armor might, in theory, strip a god of its driver.

Appearance

A finger-sized parasitic worm that occupies the bodies it kills.

Role

The reference species for body-wearing aliens in the Cookbook's deity theory.
