A formal way to bind separate parties together from the sixth floor — mentioned in one obsolete edition and possibly deleted since.
Thinking about Li Na and the problem of working with people he likes but cannot party with, Carl recalls that there is possibly a formal way to attach separate parties according to the Cookbook — a guild system — but that it does not get turned on until the sixth floor. It was only mentioned in the 22nd edition of The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook, so he does not know for certain whether it is still a thing. That happens a lot, he notes: features get tested for a crawl or two before the showrunners decide whether to keep them.
He hopes it remains, because small teams that occasionally work together is otherwise the best model available.
A possibly-retired mechanic Carl wants, for a floor he has not reached.
