The Neighborhood Map

The standard drop from neighborhood bosses, the lowest rung of the map-drop hierarchy Carl catalogs.

Story so far

When a single object appeared inside the Station Mimic's corpse, Carl already knew what tier of drop to expect, having learned the pattern from The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook and Mordecai: neighborhood bosses drop the neighborhood map, borough bosses drop The Field Guide, and the mimic — bigger than either — dropped the Map of the Stars.

Appearance

A boss-drop map item, described only by its place in the drop hierarchy.

Role

Baseline boss drop that establishes the scale of the mimic's reward.

Relationships

The Field Guide — The next tier up.
Map of the Stars — The tier above both.
