Changbi
A crawler race that leaves you tall, ghost-pale, wide-mouthed and horned, and still recognisably yourself.
Story so far
Carl examines Li Na and learns her race is something called a Changbi. The change took a slight, almost mousy woman and made her taller and rail thin, her skin deathly pale and ghost-like, her face demon-adjacent: mouth almost twice as wide as it should be, brow deeply ridged, a short pair of black horns pushing up through black hair. She still resembles the woman she was.
Carl finds the result disturbing and also understands exactly why Zhang has a thing for her — something deep and alluring, and terrifying with it. Her class is Slave Driver, which he judges a fitting pairing.
