Taranis

Grull's father, who worries in public that his son's temper makes him a poor candidate to rule the heavens.

Story so far

He appears in Grull's system description as half of the god's parentage: the child of Taranis and Apito, Grull is one of the few trueborn heirs to The Celestial Ascendency. But with an angry streak as long as a horse's cock, Taranis worries his son may not be the best choice to rule the heavens — and there is the matter of the worshippers, who tend to be donkeys and other equine-themed creatures, which is a bit unsettling even to a god. It is the only mention of him, and it establishes that the gods' succession is a live question with opinions attached.

Role

A god of the Celestial Ascendency, and Grull's doubtful father.

Relationships

Grull — His son, whose temper he distrusts.
Apito — Grull's other parent.
