Slow patchwork-zombie assassins sewn from dungeon leftovers — mostly harmless, but quadrupled in power in the dark.
Shambling Berserkers (aka Mini Grinders or Shrillings) are level-12 undead abominations — thirteen-foot slug-like piles of mismatched human body parts (arms, legs, torsos, and many groaning heads) sewn from the 'leftover parts' of the World Dungeon's creation. Slow, tenacious summoned assassins that never stop once they target you, they're mostly harmless in light — but their power quadruples in darkness, and once they go berserk they turn fast and unstoppable. A pack of them, escorted by City-Elf casters wielding a torch-snuffing anti-magic darkness, ambushed the party in a ruined pool (almost certainly sent by Magistrate-Featherfall).
Carl killed the elves with Hob-Lobbers, then dynamite hurled him onto a rooftop atop an exploding boss corpse, leaving Princess Donut and a gore-soaked Mongo to mop up the now-harmless creatures in restored daylight.
A thirteen-foot slug-shaped mass of haphazardly sewn-together human arms, legs, torsos, and many groaning heads, with tentacles of limbs waving above it.
Patchwork-zombie assassin mobs, deadly only in the dark, sent against the party.
