Frank Q

Frank

Absent, and still the reason Carl and his manager end up hitting each other.

Story so far

Frank does not appear, but the ring he handed Carl does, and Mordecai recognises it on sight. Carl still thinks of the item simply as the ring he got from Frank; Mordecai thinks of it as the thing that gets crawlers hunted down on the sixth floor. Nothing about Frank's gift reads as generous once its real market is explained.

Role

The source of Carl's Divine Suffering artifact.

Relationships

Carl — Gave him the Night Wyrm's Ring.
Night Wyrm's Ring — His parting gift, reassessed this chapter as a curse.
