Skyfowl Settlement

the Skyfowl settlement · the medium town

A medium Over City town, four times the last village's size, populated mostly by flying Skyfowl — home to a Desperado Club.

Story so far

The Skyfowl Settlement is the medium-sized Over City town Carl, Princess Donut, and Mongo trek to after the circus — four times the size of the first village, with much bigger buildings and a populace more than half Skyfowl (plus humans and orcs), guarded by the usual armored walking-armor guards. It hosts richer shops, a bustling market, a tutorial guild (Mordecai's door), and — to Donut's delight — a branch of the Desperado Club, its art-deco spinning-knife sign towering incongruously over the medieval streets. Many lower-level crawlers (levels 10-12) mill about, freezing or waving at the now-famous party.

Appearance

A large medieval-style dungeon town of big buildings, a bustling market, and flying eagle-people, under the false ceiling; an out-of-place art-deco Desperado Club tower with a spinning knife sign.

Role

A major shopping-and-services hub where the party regroups after the circus arc.

Relationships

Skyfowl — The winged race that predominantly populates it.
The Desperado Club — Has a branch here, its tower looming over the town.
Mordecai — His tutorial-guild door sits a street over from the market.
