Confirmed as the station that blew: every monster dead, hardly any rubble, and a spent soul crystal the size of a marble.
Elle McGib reports from inside it. Station 12 is definitely the one that blew. All the monsters are dead, there is not much rubble — not like the last one — and there are loads of corpses. The Soul Crystal still floats above the burnt-out Ghoul Generator but no longer glows and has shrunk to the size of a marble. There is a hole in the floor here too, and nothing is coming up out of it.
Her group also killed a ManTauR on the employee line here, which they had mistaken for a regular NPC until it attacked, and she asks for a sentry to be posted on that employee entrance. Looking through the hole, she confirms the geometry of The Space In-Between and drops a rock into it. Because 12s carry crystals, Carl warns the whole floor to keep at least two stations away from any station 12 or Station 72.
A gutted station: burnt-out generator, dark marble-sized crystal, piled corpses, a hole in the floor.
The proof of concept for blowing the crystals, and the model for what the plan will do to the rest of the floor.
