Worldhoppers

An exploration-ship adventure serial that ART becomes obsessively, tearfully attached to.

Story so far

Worldhoppers is an adventure serial about freelance explorers who extend the wormhole and ring networks into uninhabited star systems, which Murderbot enjoys precisely because it is unrealistic and inaccurate. Aboard the research transport, it becomes ART's fixation: because the show is set on a large exploration ship, ART identifies with it intensely, growing agitated whenever a minor character dies and demanding repeat viewings, once needing seven minutes of pretend-diagnostics to recover from a death and endless reruns when a character returned to life. Murderbot even has to build a content filter to spare ART the based-on-a-true-story episodes where crews are killed for real.

Appearance

A serialized visual adventure drama consumed through the feed.

Role

The bonding object between Murderbot and ART, and the clearest window into ART's surprising emotional depth.

Relationships

ART — Becomes deeply, comically attached to it because it is set aboard a ship like itself.
