Corin nearly abandons command to recover Bull, regains discipline under Holden, celebrates Naomi's elevator strike, and keeps firing after her suit arm is punctured.
Corin watches the shaft as Juarez and Cass arrive without Bull. When Juarez explains that Bull died creating the elevator barrier and that recovering his body would weaken the position, grief overrides tactics. She advances on the sniper, declaring that her people do not leave him. Holden lifts and slams her against a bulkhead, ordering mourning later. After a moment that could become a fight, Corin accepts his command and returns to watch with tears still in her eyes.
She fires on the approaching armor from the platform's left side and leans into the shaft after Naomi's elevator collision to shout defiance at the crushed loyalists. When the airlock unexpectedly cycles, Corin identifies the bridge corridor and the security override that must have opened it.
At the final junction she joins Holden in the center assault but is stopped by concentrated fire. During the alternating standoff, a round passes through the arm of her environment suit, blowing padding and sealing gel into the air without striking flesh. She immediately announces that she is unhurt and continues firing, carrying Bull's command toward the captain he could not reach.
Corin is a broad-shouldered muscular woman with a grim broad face and grief-filled eyes. She wears a sealed environment suit whose arm is punctured through padding but not flesh.
Corin is Bull's grieving successor at the command threshold, forced to subordinate recovery of the dead to completion of their mission.
